Since the 1990s, the Early Bird Breakfast Taco Ministry furnishes about 200 tacos every Friday morning to folks at two homeless shelters in Austin. Three different groups of volunteers make this happen.

Know what Catholics do well? Well, besides praying, it's BINGO! All ages are welcome to celebrate fall and back to school with a Bingo Night! St. Theresa will provide the pizza and lemonade. American Heritage Girls will have a Bake Sale for desserts. You bring your good luck charms and a fun attitude. Adult and kid prizes will be given. If you'd like to donate a prize, please bring to the church office, M-F 9-5.

Come discover highlights from Help, Thanks, Wow: The Three Essential Prayers by Anne Lamott. Everyone will be invited to write their own HELP, THANKS, WOW prayers. Come and enjoy talking about prayer with other women from our parish. Help yourself to delicious snacks too. Cindy will read excerpts from each chapter of the book exploring the three prayer themes, allow time for table discussion and encourage everyone to write their own Help, Thanks, Wow prayers. The book is not required for this meeting. Each meeting is individual, so drop-ins are welcomed!

The St. Theresa Fall Parish Picnic is coming! Join us Sunday, September 29 from Noon to 2:00 PM for food, games, and free fun for all in honor of the feast day of our Patroness, St. Therese of Lisieux.

Day Trip to San Antonio to Basilica of the Little Flower in Honor of Our Patroness, St. Therese's Feast Day Tuesday, 10/1 7:00-4:00 PM $30 per person includes transportation, a stop at BucEes, a private tour of the Basilica, snacks, and water. After the tour, we'll head to Market Square for shopping and lunch. All those over 55 are welcome! Bring a friend from another parish, and let's fill the bus! Guests can pay by check and drop it in the collection basket or the parish office c/o Mary Beth Hubik. Call the parish office if you'd like to make a credit card payment, instead. Please make sure to RSVP by 9/15/24.

Meets at 8:00 a.m. in the Family Center Nursery during the school year. This is for all mothers and their babies, or mothers can come by themselves for fellowship if their kids are all at school. The structure is flex and flow, with arrival and departure time between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. Questions? Join us in the courtyard for the annual St. Francis of Assisi Blessing of the Animals at St. Theresa! Dogs, cats, lizards, chickens; we've seen them all!

Prayer in Iconography: Icons as Prayer and Prayer in Iconopher's Life with Ph.D and artist Tatiana Nikolova-Houston. Dr. Nikolova-Houston will speak on her inspiration for Sacred Act/Sacred Illuminations and will have some of her beautiful artwork for sale. Her theme will be "Prayer in Iconography: Icons as Prayer and Prayer in Iconographer's Life".

We are going off-site for a little fun this meeting. We will meet at the Clubhouse of North Hill Townhomes for a social night. We'll learn to decorate sugar cookies like a pro and enjoy some cocktails, too! BYOB. Details to follow.
