In their annual spring concert, Masterworks Singers will feature a new large-scale work by acclaimed composer Elaine Hagenberg, whose music “soars with eloquence and ingenuity” (ACDA Choral Journal). Known for her lush harmonies, compelling melodies, and expressive piano and orchestral accompaniments, Hagenberg’s music blends artistic sophistication with wide-ranging audience appeal.
Her works are performed internationally across the Americas, Europe, Australia, and Asia, and are frequently featured at American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) conferences, All-State festivals, and major venues including Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Vatican, St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin, St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice—and soon, Église de Saint-Sulpice in Paris.
Following the concert, Masterworks Singers will join Elaine Hagenberg on a European tour, performing throughout France, including at Saint-Sulpice in Paris and historic churches in Normandy. Hagenberg’s award-winning compositional voice is deeply shaped by her love of nature, beauty, and spiritual reflection.
There will be a reception in the Family Center following this performance.
