Create Prayer Routine and Prayer Space in Your Home

Create a prayer table or shrine and set aside a designated time each day for prayer.

• Any corner or place in the house can be set aside for prayer and devotion, such as a dining room table or a sitting area.
• The prayer space could include a cross, a candle, and a bible as well as religious iconography or small statues. 
• The daily readings of the Mass can be found on the home page of our website or in daily prayer books such as Magnificat. A family rosary can be included.

Activities for Children and Families

Online daily prayer and faith formation resources

We need the inspiration and gifts of others to help guide us along our faith journey and help us grow deeper in faith. There are many online resources that can help.

• Daily Prayer apps such as Pray As You Go, iBreviary, and Laudate are free and easy to download.
• Catholics with Bibles is a Bible study hosted each week by Chase Crouse.  The Ark is our video series that explores the Sunday readings.
• FORMED.org is made free to you via our parish subscription and is a Netflix like treasure trove of Catholic content including videos, studies, audio recordings and ebooks, as well as a kids selection. Simply go to FORMED.org and sign up enterring St. Theresa Austin as your parish.
