Little Flower Catholic Academy (PK 4) Information Sheet Welcome to the Little Flower Catholic Academy!
One Hour Visitation: Wednesday, August 17, 2022First Day of School: Thursday, August 18, 2022 (Half Day)
STCS Back To School Night: Thursday, September 1, 2022
Wednesday, August 17th, between 8:00 am - 11:00 am, is a visitation day only for Little Flower Catholic Academy students and their parents. You are invited and encouraged to come during your assigned hour to familiarize yourself and your child with his/her new classroom, his/her cubby, drop off school supplies, and meet the teachers. This will help ease the anxiety that some children
and parents may feel the first few days of school. Please bring your child’s school supplies during your visitation on Wednesday. If you ordered an Edukit for your child, it will be delivered to the classroom for you.
We have staggered the students’ visits between 8:00 am-11:00 am so that the children, parents, and teachers can meet in smaller groups. We ask you to adhere to the time schedule listed below if possible. You and your child may stay any part of that hour during your visitation time to help familiarize him/her with our class. There will be sign-up sheets, a questionnaire for you to fill out, and lots of game centers for the children to enjoy while you are here.
Please let us know your child’s intended attendance choice at Visitation: M-Th 7:55-1:00 pm; M-F 7:55-1:00 pm; M-Th 7:55-3:30 pm; M-F 7:55-3:30 pm. We look forward to meeting all of you!

Special notice for the first week of school for the Little Flower Academy: Half Days! There is no lunch time for half days. We just enjoy a small morning snack in our classroom.
We STRONGLY encourage you to take advantage of these half day dismissals and take your child home for a good rest during these first few days of school. Extra rest will ease their transition to a full day but Extended Care is available for those who need it.
Please let your teacher know on Visitation Day if your child will attend Extended Care during this first week of school .
FYI: The first school Mass that Little Flower Academy students attend is Thursday, September 8, 2022. Their “Tiger buddies” (4th graders) are looking forward to meeting them! Mass uniforms are not required until the first school Mass in October.
Classroom Volunteers Needed for PK-4: Room Parents, Lunchroom Volunteers, Service Coordinators, Classroom Helping Hands, Pretend Center Coordinators, and Yearbook Liaisons (organize grade level photos for yearbook pages). We will have sign ups at Visitation Day on Wednesday, August 17.
