Our worship through music is a blessing that touches many hearts. Music Ministry volunteers lead the community in sung worship each week. We welcome new members throughout the year. Descriptions of each music ministry group are below.

11:00 AM Liturgical Choir leads the assembly in song at the 11:00 a.m. solemn Sunday Mass and other special services during the year. It is open to adults and high school youth. The choir focuses on sacred and liturgical music in the sacred tradition of the Church from all eras of church history. Rehearsals are Wednesday 7:00–9:00 AM and Sunday at 10:10 AM.
9:00 AM Liturgical Choir leads the assembly in song at the 9:00 a.m. Mass and other special services during the year. It is open to adults and high school youth. Rehearsals are Wednesday 7:00–9:00 pm, and Sunday morning 8:10 AM. Special liturgies, and combined choir events during the year are also part of the ministry.
Handbell Choir is open to all age groups. Basic ability to read music is necessary and rehearsals are seasonal, on Wednesdays 6:00– 6:55 PM. Receive the schedule from the director.
Children's Choir is open to 2nd-8th grades students from the parish, and all are welcome! Regular rehearsals will be held in the Music Room located in the Education Building. Rehearsals are Wednesday from 6 to 6:50 PM. The Children’s Choir will sing at the 5 pm Saturday Mass once every 5 to 6 weeks. Schedule will be given by the director. Special services at Christmas and Easter will feature the Children’s Choir.
Parish Brass and String Players who are intermediate level high school students or adults occasionally play throughout the year.
Parish Cantors are leaders and animators of sung prayer for our parish liturgies. Experienced singers from the parish choirs lead psalms, hymns, and acclamations at Mass. These auditioned choir members become cantors-in-training and join experienced cantors to learn the art of leading song through individual training, extended voice/psalm study, and spiritual formation.
Music Library Volunteers are faith filled volunteers that file, catalogue and organize music for all our parish choirs.
Sacred Music Series Volunteers assist with communication, design, production, support materials and coordination of the special sacred music concerts and events throughout the year.
Masterworks Singers are a renowned Community Choir hosted at St. Theresa Church. The Masterworks Singers began in 2007 and was hosted at St. Edwards University until 2021. Since then, St. Theresa Catholic Church has been the home base for this outstanding ensemble. The Masterworks Singers is comprised of singers and instrumentalists of all musical backgrounds. All are welcomed regardless of experience. This fine ensemble presents concerts in Fall and Spring, and tours internationally every two years.
