The Jubilee Holy Year, declared by Pope Francis, is a time when God’s boundless forgiveness is offered through the granting of a plenary indulgence, which removes the temporal punishment due for one's sins. To receive an indulgence, the following methods, along with the four essential conditions, can be followed:
Visit and pray at a pilgrimage site
Perform acts of mercy or penance
Recite specific prayers (for those unable to participate in pilgrimage due to being homebound)
Additionally, you can travel to Rome and pass through the Holy Doors to receive an indulgence.
