Dear St. Theresa's Catholic School Families, We are blessed to be working with you in the formation of your children. This is a sacred partnership. The key to attaining success in this partnership is to have a clear vision of where we are going. For us at STCS, the vision we have for our students is reach their full potential as a human person and Heaven.
Our mission statement identifies that the two pillars of our Catholic school is a strong faith that grows and is lived out on a daily basis by all in our community and excellence in academic achievement. This is not only our mission, but the foundation of our school culture and of course, our cornerstone is our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Our vision is ambitious. Together, we can and will achieve it. This vision will motivate us to develop goals, both short and long term, and reaching these goals will require UNITY; a harmonious partnership that can only be achieved through communication, commitment, prayer, passion, patience, persistence, but most of all love. Consider what Colossians 3:14 (NAB) says, "And over all these put on love, that is, the bond of perfection."
Trust and do not doubt what we can achieve -- Philippians 4:13 is clear that Christ empowers us for all things. We are St. Theresa's Catholic School! We can and will do great things through Christ!
Three Cheers for Our STCS Faculty & Staff First Cheer Our Open Houses on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nights were wonderful successes. The turn out from you, our parents, was very encouraging. Your participation and engagement shows we are on our way to building commUNITY. It was such a pleasure to see the enthusiasm and professionalism of our exceptional faculty on display. We are off to an amazing start and together we will achieve many incredible successes throughout this academic year.
Second Cheer The first two weeks of school remote learning for grades 1-8 has been incredible. I have visited many classrooms and seen many teachers delivering high quality virtual lessons and instruction. Despite the circumstances, our teachers have truly "upped their game." Also, the first week of in-person learning in PK & K was simply outstanding. Both teachers and aides successfully navigated their little learners through new COVID protocols while providing engaging and fun learning activities.
Third Cheer Strong, Positive, and Catholic! Those three words sum up what I see everyday from our teachers and staff. They have confronted the challenges of opening a school during a pandemic with a strength that is impressive. The positivity of this group of educators in support of one another in the face changing circumstances and daily difficulties is inspiring. Finally, the mission of our school shines through the many Christ-centered and child-centered decisions these amazing professionals make each and every day.

Some Things to Know Carline Map – Please note due to COVID-19, the Carline traffic pattern has been changed to reduce contact between students. You will find the NEW 2020-2021 Carline Map here. If you have not yet done so, please review the map prior to your child's return to on campus learning.
Drop-off begins at 7:35 AM. For families with students in grades 4 and up, your entry to campus is from Small Drive for drop-off at Elmer Hall. For families with students in grades 3 and down, your entry to campus is from Cross Valley Run Drive for drop-off at the Education Building. For families with children in both buildings, your entry to campus is from Small Drive dropping-off first at Elmer Hall, then proceeding to the Education Building.
With the return of students in grades 1-8 this week, we highly recommend families plan to arrive prior to 8:00 AM to insure your child arrives to his or her classroom by 8:05 AM. If you arrive at 8:05, or later, your child would normally be tardy. However, for the week of August 31 - September 4, we will provide a grace period of a few additional minutes as our families adjust to the return to school. You may contact the administration if you have any questions regarding carline. Thank you.
Swivls are here! – We received our Swivl shipment this week. Our Director of Technology, Deacon Peter Barger and our teachers have been busily setting up for classes this week. This proven technology will be a great resource for all our families who have selected Remote Learning. We ask for your continued patience and support as we roll out our dual learning platform through Swivl.
