When our classrooms were mostly empty on March 13 with just a few students who illuminated my face that day, my soul and spirit did not empty. On the contrary, it was filled with so much strength and encouragement by accepting that something unexpected hit us but that in return we were given gave the opportunity to continue growing and believing. There would no longer be bells, footsteps and laughter in the corridors, but they echoed the thought "we will continue."
Thousands of ideas emerged though the support and contributions of a whole team of teachers, directors, staff and parents. They made it possible to continue the academic standards of the school and to continue being a family. Not all of our children responded to an assignment at once, but they became present quickly and their beautiful greeting cards on my birthday was a joy. From home I saw difficulties being overcome when someone couldn't print a page of the book and took a sheet of paper and drew their answers by hand.
We made it possible! Believing and trusting in eachother and in ourselves, serving, jumping over obstacles, having hope and trusting in God.
