STCC Former Pastor, Fr. Greg Romanski, Dies on Good Friday

Tributes from parishioners past and present came in for Fr. Greg Romanski after news of his passing. Fr. Greg served as pastor at St. Theresa from 1999 to 2004, and as a priest for nearly 43 years.
 
Marti Matetich Burns wrote, “Fr. Greg added a youthful spirit and enthusiasm that was a welcomed addition to St. Theresa’s. His energy was contagious and his love for being a priest was so refreshing.”

Marion Cykoski said, “I will always remember his beautiful soul and how hard he worked for us.”

And Kirsten Dietz Voinis shared, “He was such a guiding light and leader when the church burned. I’ll never forget him sitting on the steps of the altar in the gym, still in his smoky clothes, and telling all of us that it’s the people who are the church, not the building.”

Our pastor, Rev. Larry Covington, asks  that we "Please offer a prayer of thanksgiving for his life and ministry and for the repose of his soul." 

Once we learn of any funeral arrangements, we will be sure to pass along the information. Thank you for your prayers for this servant of Christ. He is loved and remembered by many.
