CATALYST LENTEN SERVICE PROJECT | Cowboy Clean Up Saturday, March 2, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Calling all the cowboys! Catalyst invites all school dads and men of the parish to grab their work boots and join the Catalyst Lenten Service Project doing some campus beautification. Catalyst picked the theme because March 2 is Texas Independence Day and in recognition of the STCS Cowboy Gala. Please contact project captain Don Woodhouse to volunteer and make sure we have enough breakfast tacos and coffee. Cowboy up!
“If you raise a speck of dust, the nation flourishes, but the elders furrow their brows. If you don’t raise a speck of dust, the nation perishes, but the elders relax their brows.” -Chinese parable “Remember that you are dust and unto dust you shall return.” We hear that phrase every Ash Wednesday and it refers to our mortality and the need we all have, to be responsible for our lives of discipleship here and now.
St. Theresa Catholic School holds the record for the most diapers ever collected for Catholic Charities of Central Texas (16K in 2020). This year, in anticipation of Catholic Charities' 25th Anniversary, we are asking the church and school to bring sizes 4, 5, and 6 diapers to the Narthex until 2/23 and in morning school carline 2/20-22.
