St. Theresa's Theater Department will be performing Disney's High School Musical Jr. in the Gym. The fun-filled, family-friendly 60-minute musical will have you singing and cheering along to its catchy tunes! Buy your $5 tickets online or at the door to any of the 3 performances on April 3rd and 5th.

Mark your calendar for Friday, April 11, from 4:30-6:00PM in the Family Center. We are now accepting pre-orders for traditional fish plates, new fish taco plates with beans and cilantro crema, and kids' plates. Only a limited number of walk-up orders will be accepted, so pre-order today! Adult plates are $10, and kids' plates are $5.

Latin for “darkness,” Tenebrae is a service particular to Holy Week. A seven-candle, triangular candelabra called a “hearse” is uniquely used, with one candle representing Jesus and the rest of his followers. After each candle is extinguished in the hearse, nine readings are proclaimed, symbolizing Jesus’s followers abandoning him one by one. In the end, just the candle symbolic of Christ is left burning and then is hidden. The service ends with a “strepitus” or “loud noise” traditionally made by slamming a book shut, stomping on the floor, or, in more contemporary services, musical instruments, symbolizing the earthquake that followed Christ’s death. This takes place in total darkness. At the end, the hidden candle is returned, representative of the light of Christ returning to the world. Join us for this beautiful experience at St. Theresa!
