Supporting Endowments:
Q. What is an endowment fund?
A. A permanent, self-sustaining source of funding. Endowment assets are invested and each year a portion is paid out to support the fund's purpose. It is inteneded to grow and provide support for its designated purpose in perpetuity.
Q. How much money does it take to start an endowment?
A. The Diocese of Austin sets a $25,000 establishment minimum and a 4.0% annual return or rollover. If you would like to establish an endowed fund in honor of your loved one or in recognition of a teacher, please contact the Stewardship Office at 512-451-7105, ext. 1041.
Q. How are distributions from an endowment used?
A. The St. Theresa Catholic School Endowment is intended to support operations of the school not limited to curriculum development, faculty support, student growth, and programming.
