Sasha’s life was upended by a stalker whose harassment led to her eviction, leaving her sleeping in a loaner car while her own vehicle was being repaired. When she retrieved her car, she discovered an unexpected charge for the loaner - payable within 24 hours or her car would be remotely locked. For Sasha, this was not just an inconvenience: her car is simultaneously her home and her livelihood as an Uber driver.
SVdP answered Sasha’s call for help just when she needed it most - first covering her car payment and then addressing the loaner charge that threatened to derail her progress. Thanks to the generosity of donors at St. Theresa’s Parish, Sasha’s home and livelihood were preserved.
With her car secure, Sasha can continue driving for Uber, pay her monthly expenses, follow up on a job offer from a local attorney, and soon after, rent an apartment. She has her sights set on St. Mary’s Law School to pursue her passion for child advocacy. Guided by deep faith, Sasha now moves steadily toward a life of stability and purpose.
