Lenten outreach '25
LENTEN OUTREACH - CATHOLIC CHARITIES IN AUSTIN AND LA
FOR LA: This Lenten season, we are collecting $20 Target and Wal-Mart gift cards for Catholic Charities of Los Angeles to support wildfire victims. These gift cards will help provide essential needs such as food, clothing, and basic necessities for those displaced by the fires (who will be out of their homes for an estimated year). Please consider donating a gift card to the parish office to support those in need.
FOR AUSTIN: We will be supporting Catholic Charities of Central Texas. On the weekends of 3/23 and 30, please bring all sizes of diapers to our collection boxes in the Narthex.

A Lenten Blood Drive for "We are Blood" will occur in the St. Theresa Parking Lot. All from the community are welcome to donate! Eat a full meal before donating and remember to bring your photo I.D.

Soup & the SpiritJoin us each Thursday of Lent after the 11:30 AM Mass for homemade soup and a spiritual reading. It's a beautiful way to connect with other parishioners, reflect, and a St. Theresa tradition! Director of Liturgy, J.D. McQueen will present "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis. HelpersWant to help? Mobile Loaves & Fishes
Be the hands and feet of Christ by serving the unhoused in Austin. St. Theresa volunteers load trucks and go on Mobile Loaves & Fishes trucks from the St. Louis Food Pantry on the 3rd and 4th Saturdays of the month at 4:00 or 5:00 pm: 2118 St Joseph Blvd, Austin, TX 78757

Early Bird TacosSince the 1990s, the Early Bird Breakfast Taco Ministry has provided about 200 tacos every Friday morning to people at two homeless shelters in Austin. Three different groups of volunteers make this happen:
1) Shoppers who, with church funds, obtain supplies in the early part of the week from one of multiple local grocers,
2) Weekday Cooks who make about 100 tacos on Wednesday or Thursday in their homes or at the Family Center, and
3) Friday Morning Cooks who make an additional 100 tacos in the Family Center early Friday morning.

VBS Adult Volunteers Needed
June 9-13, 9-Noon
There are SO many ways you can help bring the children of our parish to Christ during Vacation Bible School! The greatest need is for adult volunteers the week-of VBS.- Lead or assist at a station the children will visit throughout the morning.

- Oasis Eats and Beats (Snacks and Music station)
- Pyramid Playground (Games station)
- Joseph's Journey (Bible Story station)

Catechesis Volunteers
(ONGOING: EIM Designation Needed)
Volunteer now to be a Catechist, Aide, Prayer Leader, Youth Group Helper and more. We will provide training and materials.
Registration Fees for Catechesis classes will be waived for children of weekly adult volunteers who contribute their time to the Catechesis Program as Catechists, Assistant Catechists, Faith Friends, or Resource Room Aides.
