Join a group of wonderful people like you, working together to serve our neighbors in need.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul was founded in France in 1883 to help the poor and destitute of Paris.
See the people you help face-to-face. Make a direct impact on their lives. There are many ways to help through St. Theresa St. Vincent de Paul:
Home Visits: Teams of two meet with neighbors in their homes, learn their needs, pray with them and provide help with food, diapers, and monthly bills.
Healthy Food Boxes: This team puts together healthy food boxes and distributes them at the St. Louis Food Pantry.
Other SVDP jobs:Other volunteers assist the homeless, provide referrals to callers or help transport needed furniture.
Contact svdp@st-theresa.org for more information or to join the St. Theresa parish team of volunteers.
If you need assistance from SVDP for rent, utilities, or other expenses, call 211 to be directed to the St. Vincent de Paul conference serving your area. If you think you live within the St. Theresa parish boundaries, please call the parish office at 512-451-5121. For more information, please visit our FAQ page.
